I always glue h3n when it is 1/3 curled. Need to use 2 layers of andro glue. I remove the glue layer used for boosting and then add 2 layers to stick.

I used the Nittaku Finezip, didn't work - I have a small tube of oil based glue (that I never tried) but I am hesitant  to use in case it is not easy to remove

hmm. maybe there's something you're not doing right. I've been using nittaku finezip for ages, and i've never had a single problem with gluing boosted rubbers

I glue curled rubbers with tearmender.

Finezip is probably too of the line in terms of tt glue next to revolution which is a finezip clone ino. More elastic maybe?

I don't uderstand the process of boosting the glue rather than the sponge itself.
If you put 5 layers of glue before boosting it seems obvious that the booster's gonna have trouble to get into the sponge? So, if you boost directly the sponge before gluing the effect will be stronger?!!

For me, boosting after gluing is boosting the glue!!! but i might be wrong! plz gimme some explanations!!

Youll screw yourself with the thickness limit as Schen mentioned few weeks ago. I did measurements eith my tt scale as well. Im already too close as it is. Boosting the glue layer will definately catch you some attention

Thank you asifgunz, that is correct.  You can boost over the glue with good effect (I've actually started doing that since the switch to the plastic ball, but only over ONE layer of glue on the sponge), but doing so over so many (3+) layers of glue is absurd.  Boost or not over that many layers, you will fail the thickness test if you are using 2.15/2.2mm rubbers.  If you have the provincial 2.10mm version, you might be able to get away with it depending on how flat your blade is and how thinly you are able to apply the glue, but I don't think it is worth the risk and I don't see the benefit.

finally managed to glue down the boosted H2.  Don't know if it is because the curl is more relaxed since it had been 8 days since the boost or if I let the glue dry to a more adhesive degree before attaching the rubber.  Will see how it plays tonight - was not impressed with a unboosted Neo TG3

Hi all, need a bit of help.  I was happy enough with the tuned H2 that I got a piece of H3 Prov 39#, orange sponge to try and would like to mount it on another blade to compare it to the H2 ( at the same time still like to have the H2 setup intact because I don't want a H2/ H3 combination).  Not wanting to search, could someone list possible blade types that would go well with H3?  Stiffness / hardness / etc.  I am preparing the H3 currently and would mount it in a few days.  Thanks.
