I haven't got to play with it yet but the fake rubber did not perform all that bad. It definitely isn't as soft as the real version and its durability is questionable. I'm sure the real will play a lot different based on feel. I've used the fake for maybe 2 months and never noticed anything too odd. Just not a lot of dwell time honestly.
