A nice point in the final of the club championships at 'Table Tennis Club Delta Impuls' in the North of the Netherlands (Oudeschoot). Please let me know what you think of it... thanks!

I keep telling my club mates to stop apologizing for nets and edges before the point is actually over.  ;^)

Agree 100% - I would like to stop apologizing for nets and edges all together - but people think it's bad sportsmanship.

Nice save by the player in this point. Wonder if the other player could have returned it, if he wasn't busy apologizing and counting the point before it was over!

I don't think he could return it even if he wasn't busy apologizing. It's a roller or almost one, even Ma Long can't return those.

Yes. It took a second bounce on the table making it pretty much un-returnable.

Wow, that are a lot of years. It makes this point even more special.

That wasn't a rolling entrance or anything close to it. Nor was it all that spectacular. The guy shows quick hands and all, but there's a lot of randomness to the shot. Something that just happens once in a while if you play enough.

But was good and worth watching/sharing for sure.

Wavestone St with Illumina 1.9r, defender1.7b

Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

Of course, the player also has a little bit of luck...

The umpire was an alcoholic who was drinking beer at the time, and he had no idea what had happened. Some time after this match he was banned from drinking while umpiring.

I didn't mind too much because I was winning the match quite easily. If it had been a close match then there would have been a bit of drama.

Also in the Netherlands you see many players drinking beer during games, especially at the lower levels... that's really bad. After the games you can take a good beer, of course.
