I have been practising with an old borrowed Primorac Carbon. 05fx and H3N rubbers.
it has more control and is not as stupidly fast as I thought it would be.

Personally I prefer Tibhar stuff, my present blade is a Powerwood but I find it to flexy and hit long with it at times.
I don't seem to do this with the Primorac and I definitely block better with the primorac.

anyway I don't really want to pay over £100 for a primorac.

I love the handle on the stratus Powerwood and see the handle is the same on Samsonov Stratus Carbon and the plies look similar on the SCCB to the Primorac Carbon.

does anyone think this might be a good move.

One good option and cheaper compared to Primorac Carbon is TSP Hino Carbon Power. 75 Euros at TableTennis11..

Both performs very close with TSP being a little easier to control due to its thickness (6.5mm) compared to PC (6.9mm).

Also Donic Ovtcharov Carbospeed (7.0mm) around 60 Euros..

I don't think its a bad idea if you really like how the Primorac feels.

But if you're still on the fence about it, maybe practice with it a little longer or until you have made your mind.
Its a pretty good blade.

mind you, if you buy a new blade it may not feel EXACTLY the same as the one you were practicing with.

This happened to me with a Viscaria. I borrowed a friends Viscaria, and decided I liked it a lot. when I got my own one, it did not feel exactly the same. But I got used to it pretty quickly.
