im testing an old primorac carbon and I quite like it.
I prefer Tibhar blades - considering buying a samsonov stratus carbon my main blade is a stratus Powerwood anyone played with both? I was surprised how much more control primorac had, more than I thought it would |

I've never tried a Primorac Carbon. But, I'll be interested in reading your findings. I formerly played with the Tibhar SPW, and am currently using the Tibhar SSC which I love. If you like the Stratus Power Wood, you should at least try the Stratus Carbon. My concern in the switch was that the Carbon would make the blade too fast for me, but it actually is a very control oriented blade.

I tried the primorac carbon very briefly and it feels much harder and more solid compared to SSCB. SSCB is softer due to limba outer. Control is definitely better on the SSCB when looping and hitting. Blocking is easier on the primorac due to the solid feel, its faster when hitting obv.
It had some tibhar rubbers, either nianmor or genius (can't remember tbh), but it felt really balance with nice large flared handle. You can search my SSCB review on this website if you need more info or check my for sale link which has the link for the review. And if you are interested I'm selling a used SSCB ST handle. if the SSCB is a bit stiffer than TSPW but similar speed and still soft for looping I think I will like it.
the primorac is very fast and firm I thought last night |

Haven't played TSPW but SSCB is more flexible than a lot of the 5 ply all woods. It has soft feeling, nice elasticity and shines at looping.
