    Posted: 03/07/2017 at 10:38am
I've recently switched back to hexer pips after a few months. Today I played with old celluloid ball and had much more fun with hexer pips. I'm pretty sure that tomorrow when I play with poly ball again I'm gonna hate it. So I've been wondering, what pips plays with poly balls similar to how hexer pips with celluloid balls?

Any short pips feel terrile with the plastic rubbish ball. You can't get similar feel. Spinpips 21 and Hammond FA Speed still work well.

I was guessing maybe something with harder sponge might do the trick. I heard rakza po has same sponge as rakza 7. What you think?

am using Joola express Ultra and it seems good for plastic balls, the stiga royal didn't do the work which is softer.

All SP play worse with poly ball compared to celluloid ball, but it also cause more trouble to your opponent, so it's 'even Steven' I think.  I would use use thicker sponge helps give you more control with poly ball.
