Hi guys

I would like to make a blade comparison between the 3 above regarding their characteristics and what play style do they compliment ,based on opinions of members who have played with them for a while

What blade produces
1. more spin
2. More speed
3. More feeling of the ball (good feedback) and better touch play
4. What blade offers more control either active (punch and redirection) or passive
5. Easiest to hold in Flared handle
6. Sweetspot
7. Catapult effect
8. Limba vs koto

I mention that currently I play with the zjk blue dragon blade and I am very happy with it ,but wondering what would be different if i decide to change

just read the different reviews. There is plenty out there between those blades.

Some of your questions are also highly dependent on how you play. What I can tell you:

Speed: ZJK ALC >= Freitas ALC > Apolonia ZLC
Spin: Apolonia ZLC > Freitas > ZJK ALC
Feeling: Apolonia > Freitags = ZJK

You will lose that direct crisp feel when going to limba. I feel Koto also blocks better. The Limba blades will give you a softer less direct feel with slightly more catapult at distance. Apolonia will give you a more wooden feel but still has composite speed at the top.The Limba blade I prefer is not on your list and that is Hurricane Long V.

Hon1g I use to read many reviews before posting regarding equipmemt compariso ,but there is not a single one between freitas alc and zhang jike alc ,or even apolonia that's why I started here a new post or I really struggled to find one

Jpenmaster what do you mean by the terms of crisp and direct ? I try to translate but the result on translator doesn't make sense
Do mean it's harder to drive the ball or active block with limba ( flat shots ) ?

Isn't true that long 5 has a thin handle ? I don't like that
I also heard that when playing with tenergys it feels somewhat dead feeling and not strong at all

Anyway what is the reason you like this blade ?

The Koto alc has less flex and a harder outer veneer . When you use a limba blade it will feel dull or muted compared to Koto. Koto gives you a more aggressive block you can still block with Limba it is just different. I had no problem with Tenergy on HL5 but I prefer H3 on all my blades anyway. The HL5 grip is slim but it depends on how you hold the blade if that will effect you. I mainly use my index finger and thumb to grip the blade and the thin handle allows me to get my other fingers higher up.

The general rule of thumb is

- Flexy/Soft blade with Harder Rubbers
- Harder Blade with softer rubbers

YMMV

What hardness of provincial Hurricane 3 do you feel plays best on limba? I have a sheet of neo 38 and 39 and trying to decide which to glue on my new Carbonado 145.

To the OP, if you are happy with your current blade, I feel like it makes sense to choose a blade most similar in composition so you don't get something too different. I think ZJK ALC would be the most similar.
A version of Hurricane 3
A version of Tenergy
A Stiga blade...

I see that the feeling on the zjk blue dragon isn't that hard ,it's medium feel ,but there is a difference comparing with the innerforce alc which is soft ,but I guess it's worse on control

I would suggest you find a person in your club and see if you can borrow a Limba ALC/ZLC blade. Its just a slightly different feel. Koto is harder than Limba but I don't consider Koto hard. Koto is softer than Walnut and Rosewood.
