It's really hard to find something that meets your requirement and for those who are not fond of tt brands usually want to save the trouble of ordering a pair of shoes online.  I've been looking around for quite a while for a pair of nice shoes that can compete with the tt brands in terms of design and material and I think I finally found a pair.  I got me a pair of Asics Gel Rocket shoes designed especially for indoor activities and i have to admit that is a great looking shoe and somehow outbeats the other brands such as stiga or yasaka, and maybe competes equally with Mizuno.  I am not a big fan of asics but the design of the shoe really got my attention so I hope this helps to those people who are still searching.  If you want, you can also share your experiences about shoes.

I highly recommend either PUMA or Adidas running shoes...or anything that's light.  I got both of them and they're much better than the butterfly tt shoes i got.   Their qualities are much better.

I work in a big sports shop and I use asics gel rocket. They are very grippie, light, well made and non expensive.

I have been using Asics Gel Rocket III and am extremely satisfied. I would not recommend running shoes because they are not designed for lateral movement. People may use running shoes but most indoor sports shoes should be better because they are designed for lateral movement.
