Hi mates, would you please suggest me a medium hard grippy rubber with low throw angle? I am out of play for a long time and have very little idea about current generation of rubbers.
Thanks in advance.

maybe Skyline 3-60 Mid-Hard? It's quite cheap and on discount at TT11 at the moment. It does not play like a classic chinese rubber and mine has a low throw angle.

Hello Saif,

Welcome back to the game! From your previous setup, your rubbers used were TSP Ventus Speed + Curl.
Currently the latest ESN rubbers are mainly the Andro Rasanter, Donic Bluestorm and Tibhar Aurus series.
You can read the reviews around here, and they have different hardness for you to choose from; As V.Speed is 45 degrees, I guess 45 - 47.5 degrees might be what you're looking for?

Other than these new rubbers, from the top of my head, with your description of medium hard, grippy, low throw.(And that you've used ESN Rubbers)
I would suggest the Victas V>15 Extra Rubber.

Cheers!

Thanks all for their suggestions. Chewy and GS, if you have played with Bluestorm or Sigma 2 Europe, then would you please provide some short review on these two rubbers?

You are most welcome Saif.
Personally I have never played with the BlueStorm.
Have only played with Ransanter Series and the Victas V15 Extra.

Don't fret though! You can check out Bluestorm and a couple of other rubbers.
TT11 Testing Thread, where Slevin has a review of the BlueStorms, which he has also compared to the Ransanters.

Also, Hans did a Bluestorm Review at:

Happy reading! :)

Sigma 2 Europe is a medium hard rubber with a medium-low throw and can produce surprisingly good spin. It's very fast and is a decent alternative to Tenergy 64. You can basically consider the characteristics of Tenergy 64 and apply them to Sigma 2 Europe but Sigma 2 Europe has a bit of a lower throw angle than Tenergy 64.
