Just got mine today. Haven't glued rubbers to test yet. My observation, 1. quality: excellent. Honestly, I didn't expect Yinhe can produce an ALC blade with such high quality. Almost as good as BTY TB ALC and Viscaria. 2. top layer: Koto, a little thinner than Viscaria, probably thinner than TB ALC as well (don't have a TB ALC at hand). 3. core layer: Kiri,a little thicker than Viscaria. It makes the blade a little thicker than Viscaria (6.0~6.1mm vs 5.8mm) 4. handle: comfortable, close to TB ALC and Viscaria, a little longer than Viscaria (maybe 1mm). 5. bounce ball test: close to a Viscaria, maybe a little faster. Would say it's closer to TB ALC and TBS.

Peeled rubbers off my old Viscaria and glued them to thew new V14
pro. Hit against robot for about 20 mins. Overall, the blade feels good.
A little faster & crispier than Viscaria. The handle is noticeably
longer & larger. The blade is also a lot head heavier than a
Viscaria (maybe due to its thickness or hollow handle? ). My blade is
90g but feels heavier than my 93g old Viscaria. It's more a clone of TB
ALC than a Viscaria. Worth the money? YES Will it replace my Viscaria? NOEdited by chroot - 12/06/2018 at 9:11pm |
