Just curious, I see that all Innerforce series blades have limba as the top ply.   However, when I hold Innerforce Layer ALC.S, I am pretty sure that it is not limba.   I have wayyyyy too many limba blades and this one just doesn't look like it.

To be honest, it is a bit darker in color and looks like anegre (similar to my Yasaka Extra).

Anybody know what type of wood for the top ply of Innerforce Layer ALC.S?

EDIT:  After searching this forum, there were 2 threads about this before but was still not 100% confirmed that it's limba.

OK.  Thank you.

It means that the construction is spruce - spruce - ayous - spruce - spruce then.

Top is Limba, below is Spruce.
So it's Limba | Spruce | ALC | Ayous | ALC | Spruce | Limba.

Thank you for the info.   I was thinking that it should be limba, but it just does not look like limba to me, based on all limba blades that I have.

But I guess I can be wrong.
