Boll Spirit ST, Sriver L max both sides (used to be Sriver EL and FX when he was younger). His Sriver L is particularly heavy (=harder than normal). He uses so much speed glue that he has to use new rubbers every day.
In case you want to use the same equipment here it his own advice on this matter (this is roughly what I remember from an interview I read a long time ago): "These rubbers (especially heavy sriver L max) is too hard for amateur players. They are better off with Sriver FX or EL if they want to play a similar game like me." |

YATTP is right! Timo Boll uses:
blade: Butterfly timo boll spirit straight handle FH: shriver L max BH: shriver L max glue: fair chack regular shriver L rubber has the hardest sponge compared to shriver FX and EL. Fx has the softest sponge, thus the slowest. Most professional players play with EL sponge. PLease go to timo boll homepage to find out more about Timo Boll. Go to google and type in Timo Boll. |

I dont think, that his srivers are custom-made. There are just selected. As we know, when producing the sheets, there are some variation in sponge-hardness. So Boll chooses harder Sriver L on fh and normal/soft sriver L for bh. Nothing special with them. Everybody can choose a soft or hard Sriver L.
