Thanks for the videos.

It seems like these players all got the same coaching.  Their serves look the same, their stroke mechanics look the same, and their tactics during the games seem pretty much the same.  I mean, it's impressive play, but they could all be clones of each other.

I can see your point in that they all emphasise 3rd ball attack which has been the go to tactic since seventies/eighties(?). But to me they all have clearly different ways of getting there.
However, have you noticed that (at TT top tiers)  we are now back to the short rallies prevalent in the speed-glue era?

I dunno.  They use the same service motions for more or less the same serves.  If we looks at other parts of Europe, not to mention Asia, we'll see a greater variety of service motions.  Maybe not in China, but most other places.  And their looping strokes, especially the way they handle the backhand is pretty much the same and yet somewhat different from other European counties (or Asian).

These matches were definitely shorter rallies, but I watch a fair amount of Bundisliga and the rallies there are usually longer.  As for world elite players, I think they are always looking for ways to reach shorter rallies.  Perhaps we need taller nets?

My first thought was that I would expect BH-emphasized play, such as is common with most eastern European countries, but what I actually see is weaker, or at least less aggressive BH pay, even compared to what I might see in the Bundisliga.  But my main point is all the guys played like that.
