Does anyone know if there are any non-Butterfly rubbers that have the same characteristics as Butterfly's Dignics 05? Thanks!

Not my own personal opinion, but I've been seeing a lot of Dignics comparisons for Donic's BlueStar A1.

Any grippy rubber classified as Tensor type will do well, sponge hardness 40 degree Shore A.
Giant Dragon offers the such, ask them for Catalogue to choose from. |

After finding the best replacement for Dignics 05, do we necessarily get Dignics 05 back if we try finding the best replacement for that replacement?

Performance wise, there are some ESN 50 degrees do the job, like
Dynaryz AGR Donic Bluestorm Pro Victas V22 Rakza XX To name a few.. Durability wise, hard to get even close to Dignics 05.

D05 has kind of a unique feel. There are many rubbers that have similar speed and spin, but the feel is pretty different. In my experience, so is the durability. D05 lasted longer than and every ESN rubber I have seen to date. Whichever way you go, there will be an adjustment.

Nittaku Fastarc G1 is pretty similar to D05 based on my experience although G1 should feel softer bases on their hardness.

G1 lasts forever; people say that of D05 as well. The power and spin limits of D05 lie a bit hither, but then again, for me G1 is controllable - and D05 just isn't.
To me, D80 and G1 feel more like kin. But then again, what do I know.

D05 is irreplaceable but it can be replaced. That is, it's all about preferences. Preferences are influenced by all and everything.
