They belong to the same category, but which is better? Did anyone try both of them?

Yes i own them both. Gold has a harder topsheet and a harder feel. Gold is faster. I think F1 has a little bit more spin. Gold has a somewhat textured topsheet when you look closely and i think it has a lower throw.

Can anybody compare Coppa JO Gold with Bryce (FX) PowerSponge, or Andro Plasma 470, in terms of feel, speed, spin, and durability (how long the glue effect lasts).  I found the durability of the latter two to be quite abysmal.

I used the Andro Plasma 430 for months with no dropoff in performance.  In fact when I glued it there was no appreciable increase in speed or spin.

wfwfitz, how does the Plasma 430 compare with the Saviga that you're using now?  I'm considering trying the latter.

I have the 430 in black and the saviga in red.  Unglued the 430 is faster but glued the Saviga is faster and louder, but the 430 is spinnier.  Both has excellent control on touch shots and enough speed to play off the table but good enough control for my on the table game.  Both are medium to soft sponges with the Saviga getting softer when speedglued.  Glue effect much bigger on Saviga than 430.  Saviga $18 while 430 is $38.  If you are speed glueing the Inspirit outperforms the Saviga but unglued the Saviga is better.  I have the 43 sponge but I hear the 45 is faster.
