Who here uses speed glue, and who doesn't? What are the benefits in using speed glue?

Also, what normal glues are still safe to use and recommended considering the ban on VOC stuff? (looking to tag an order of glue onto my paddle palace order.. but I don't have much experience with glue, and can't tell how many times those can be used ...)

I used to speed glue but i'm converting over to the CTE method now and so far i like it.  Speed glue makes the sponge "come alive".  When you speed glue it stretches the sponge and topsheet out which will create more friction on the surface of the topsheet, more friction equals more spin.  And because you are putting material on the sponge to be absorbed, it makes the molecules of the sponge larger, which will give you more power in your shots as well.

Mostly CTE... some of my rubbers are tensors so i don't really need to speed-glue them. So far I haven't found a cheap reliable tensor for my forehand which has great control, still suitable for a fast attack and blocking, doesn't require regluing... on the backhand LKT Torrent 2.0 seems so far a pretty good choice
