It's a glue that does not harder and stays sticky. It is also called vulcansing fluid and is virtually the same stuff used for repairing punctures bike tyres.

There really is no water based glue, some of the long lasting glues were referred to as 'water based', but this does not appear to be the case.

Are you mixing it with a solvent?  Does your rubber dome and get the speedglue effect?

well i can say it gets upto 70% of a real speedglue effect prvided your valcanising liquid sample should be good in respect of the ingrediants.i know some cheap fluids which hurts the rubber sheet very much.

yes my rubber does dome.

i mix it with gasoline(petrol, lead free)in 85(valcanising liquid):15 ratio.u can use zepo lighter fluid also or see cole's reply on making home made glue in other threads

I don't think that's classed as a glue...more as as a fluid to treat your sponge to give it some a 'speed glue like' effect.
