Glueing Doc Evil to a sponge |

HI all, I was thinking about to maybe put my Doc Evil to a sponge, what sponge should I get

I stuck some Evil one of the cheapest thin friendship sponges for a friend and he seems to like it. He says it plays a lot like some old Ad Hoc (don't know anything about this rubber) that he used to have.
It depends what you want the final rubber to be like really as to what sponge you should use. I would probably experiment with a cheap sponge first and see if you think a more expensive or faster sponge will give you anything more.

I used a glue sheet to put .6m sponge on a blade, then a glue sheet to put Dr Evil OX on the sponge.
It is still very slow, can chop well, Blocks can be kept short but spin reversal is much less. It makes it harder to return serve (harder than OX) |
