Could anyone give me advice on gluing rubber? I glued my own rubber recently but the smell still lingers. Is it possible that I used too much glue?
And before regluing, are you supposed to get the old glue residue off the blade? If so, how do you go about doing that? (and what about the rubber's coat of glue?) |

normal gluing - spread glue once over rubber, once over blade, attach, done
speedgluing - spread glue over rubber (1 to 25) number of times, once over the blade, attach, reglue next time you play as for old glue residue, remove it off of the rubber only after you've glued it approx. 10 times. I think 7homuz has a video on this. The glue residue on the blade can be rubbed off effortlessly each time. |

The way I do is every 4 time glued, I removed the old glue and start the procedure again.
Becouse if you have to much glue on your rubber the effect of the glue will no give you any benefit.
Hope this help you.

When I said 4 time means.... I play 3 time a week plus one day of the next week, if I aply 3 layer of glue each time is aproximately 12 layer total.
Then remove the old glue, using Lamp Oil.
