The reason why H3 is good is not because of "quality" but basic design. Conical pips for ramping up power and attacking backspin, etc. Topsheet isn't too soft/tacky w/ natural rubber nor sponge too hard like old fashioned chinese rubber.

Shittiest thing about H3 is DHS QA, and with prov/nat at least they try to weed out the bad sponges by picking from the center of the sheet. What those use are still bit harder than ideal for not gluing/boosting, though.  #19 centercut is I think ideal for amateur play, but you're only going to get than if you have a local TT shop that lets you pick.

I agree. The inconsistency of the sheets is by the most frustrating thing about Hurricanes(skyline too). If that weren't the case much more mid and high level amateurs could and would play chinese rubbers on the forehand
