i am using Dr N Firewall Plus Blade.. with palio macro pro on fh side and solcion on bh side.. last weekend 1st time i play in a tournament with this blade..
i realise that my oppenent easy to block my loop or top spin... i need to really pull out all my energy to generate more spin so that my oppenent cant easily block or push my ball. after do that i find that the theory is correct. than after the game.. my fren borrow my blade... he discover that... my blade n rubber is not properly glue.. so he reglue again my rubber... than after that it is okay... now i am confusing.. is it coz of the blade or rubber or glue.. that actually coz my problems.. any opinion? next experiment i will try to replace the palio macro pro on fh to sriver 2.1 fx... i want to still give this blade few times to try since i really like the fell and the speed it has when i block or smash or serves. thanks for ur opinion. |

Swing your arm and hip fast to generate spin and speed.
Dr.N Firewall Plus is a good blade. Try playing for few weeks before you decide you don't want to play with that. I use Dr.N products. I can generate heavy top spin with Dr.N blades, and that is one of the reason I can win tournaments. |

tq tq for ur tips. what rubber you use on your fh? do u contact/brush the ball with your fh fast/long/hard?
i will try to do that. move fast esp my hips. i observe that i need to contact the ball with my fh hard+power so that i can generate more spin. but last nite i just change my rubber to sriver fx 2.1. feels a little bit slower than palio macro pro but i think maybe it can also my top spin problem. |

more spin will generally cause slower speed. if your oppenent are good, he can ajust to that heavy spin really quick. we can really give you any advises without videos of your game.

The area where you have to focus is generating more spin. The speed will come later while you develop your skill.
I use many rubbers on my FH. They are all tuned rubbers like Joola Mambo, Domination, Goliath. My FH is top spin loop not smash - similar to Joo Se Hyuk. I brush the ball. You have not said the sponge size of your rubber. I use 1.7 mm sponge size to take the full advantage of the blade. |
