It's really hard to say something about the speed issue. Js version is bouncier so its a litle bit faster with slow strokes. But H3 Pro feels more powerfull with serve&kill stuff... JS is more lively, there is more ball feeling but it lacks a little bit torque...

It's still not clear to me - is JS H3-Pro version lighter than DHS H3-Provincial and if yes, then is the difference considerable?

This what I've gathered so far from the stats/info on the catalog and the review/feedback people provided above.

Nittaku H3 JS
- Chinese sticky topsheet, softer sponge (Japanese sponge)
- slightly faster and bouncier
- lighter

Nittaku H3 Pro
- Chinese sticky topsheet, Chinese sponge (higher quality than the one under commercial H3)
- slower and more spin
- weight about the same as the commercial H3
- good control and favored by close to table and mid-distance offensive players

The overall quality of these two rubbers is higher than regular H3 on the market and somewhat between H3 Provincial and National versions.

Nittaku H3 js is lighter than Nittaku H3 Pro. And yes the difference is considerable. I'm using the JS version just because of the weight issue.

Are you buying it from IruIru?

Also is it somewhat worse in control than H3 regular or Pro?

Yes I'm buying these from iruiru.com/e

I'm a H3 fan and I used 10-11 Nittaku H3 Pro, 1 Regular DHS H3, 2 DHS H3 provincial and 6-7 Nittaku H3 JS.

You all know regular H3 right?
So DHS H3 Pro is not much different than regular ones. Some say there is just a little bit better wuality control or something like that...
Nittaku H3 pro's sponge is a little bit softer. Reacts much better to the speed glue. Much better ball feeling. I believe its topsheet is a little bit better than DHS ones and I think its a little bit more elastic. At the end its a really good quality rubber. But its heavy as regular H3.
Nittaku H3 JS= regular H3 topsheet between good quality soft japanese sponge. Its much softer and much lighter. A little bit more bouncier but its not like tackifire special or Juic 999 elite ultima. Its still super sticky and there is still super friction and dwell time. Its topsheet not as good as Nittaku H3 pro but sponge makes it all.

the difference is considerable but nothing like sriver el and sriver fx. But I can easily sense the difference between a red&black sheet.

black ones are more elastic so there is more ball feeling. So it can create a little bit more spin with slow shot like pushing serving openning topspins... But speed wise there is no difference.
