I've just purchased hybrid wood, since the finishing is rough. I put polyurethane all round edge of the blade until the handle. First I saw 9 ply of wood at the edge. But After I wipe the edge with polyurethane, the line seems disappear in several edge of the blade. It seems now it has only 5 ply. Top ply Black, red, black, red, black. Before the red ply has 2 ply, now only 1 ply. Has anyone who use this notice this problem?

It seems that the wood actually carved/marked by machine, so that it looks more ply on it. But It doesn't matter, I've tried this blade, it's awsome.
SpeedKing thanks for your comment of this blade, it has long dwell time, I use it with F1 and Sriver FX. It has a fast speed and good control too. I can play away from the table better than with H-King with Bryce Speed, Speed FX. Stiga is more concern with the way the blade play rather than the finishing of it's product. It's better for Stiga to improve it's finishing quality though, then it will conquer TT markets :) |
