There is a 2400+ player/coach that says he would not reccommend the 05 to anyone that does not practice 5 or 6 days a week. He does reccommend the 25 for others. He thinks the 05 requires touch that can only be obtained from alot of practice.

I would tend to disagree with that statement hookshot, I think that as long as you have fairly solid fundamentals and the right kind of strokes that anyone could play with 05. As long as you stroke the ball properly it provides a good amount of control. As for how it would behave on a KC, then that might be a pretty extreme combination unless you are a high level player. I also thought that the KC was deemed illegal now too

The KC is illegal unless you remove the silver paint from the head(the grain of the wood has to be seen).

Nah, not at all.Actually Ishlion is the upper version of the KC because everything is nearly the same apart from it doesn't have the glossy coat on the surface.About T05, I use a max version on my fh on Amultart blade which is superfast already and I didn't have any problems.Although sometimes when really close to the table, when I loop it goes out sometimes but most of the time it's so powerful and so spinny. It's very easy to flick, smash and loop but quite hard to push short and low, tight, to achieve that, you will need a very good feeling.I'm practicing on that because I play short game a lot ! Well, I think if u are really at that level, KC and T05 isn't a big problem, just need some practice, more practice, less time u need to get used to rubber.First time I changed it and I used it after nearly an hour,I still beat lots of guys. And if u aren't so confident, buy 1.9mm ;) ! Good luck !

The KC and Ishilion were available at the same and the KC was still $60+ more expensive(musta been the paint job...or was it a snow job?).

I have no idea what the KC plays like. However, T05 has a high throw and plays well on a carbon blade with a low throw. If the KC fits this description, it should play OK as long as the blade is not super fast and hard to control to begin with.

Even though I have played with many blades, KC is still one of my favorite specially with glued rubbers. It is so easy to glue/reglue with KC
Does anyone play KC with T05 yet? I may try out this week to see how it plays

Well, I've played Sardius and Amultart compared to Sardius have a softer feeling, almost the same speed, just small difference IMO, almost no vibration ( I love this, when I hit hard, my hand just move and it doesn't vibrate ).But I'm sure that it's much faster than KC.And Amultart has a hinoki top ply and if I'm not wrong, KC has limba or other on so it will feel different
