Okay! As promised I got two brand new Killerspin rubbers (Red, Max) for testing.

I do not really have time or desire to do this - perhaps I will have at some point later, but not now. So I am looking for two volunteers who will receive these rubbers free of charge (I will even pay for the shipping...). However if you guys have some older used rubber as a trade for all this new yummy stuff... like 802 short pips on 2.0 sponge would be nice Wink, or 2.0 Outlaw even better Big%20smile... let me know.

What is asked of the testers:

1) you will need to test rubbers on some decent (preferably well-known) ALL+, OFF-, OFF, OFF+ blade

2) then post your first, second and third (if it gets to that Wink) impressions here on the separate thread; hopefully your reviews will be long and informative.

3) if you don't like the rubber enough to keep on playing with it please send to someone else - I hope we will have more than two volunteers here.

4) finally, I ask you to mail me back the cutout pieces of the rubbers, for topsheet-sponge hardness testing.

No need to PM me - sign up right here. When we have enough people, I will let you know the results.

Sorry, since I am paying for shipping - US-48 only. Unless you really really want it so much you are willing to pay me to ship it to Malaysia or Romania etc.

If you include Canada (Nova Scotia), I would be interested in the Fortissimo (Black, Max if there is a choice). I have a black Outlaw (cut, max) if you want it. I am currently using PME (black, max) on a Donic Dicon.

I have the blast and let me tell you, its way faster than my h3 neo on flat hits, too uncontrollable for a low rated player like me

Sorry, they are both Red (Max) - as I mentioned in the title post Wink. I hope you are still interested. Since it is mostly for testing purposes (unless you really like it) I am sure your clubmates won't object if you have two Red rubbers - after all, you don't have to use it in official tourneys.

Two questions:

1) Since you are new here, can you tell a bit about your style and level?

2) How many hours was your Outlaw played?

Thanks.

Of course. As far as I understand it is an OFF style ESN tensor - kinda like Killerspin's answer to Tenergy, Hexer and their whole lot...

that's funny these guys spend millions on advertising... and 2 red rubbers for testing? wow!!!

No ... i'm not interested in testing Killerspin rubbers or rather rubbers manufactured by someone and sold under killerspin logo.

It's not like it is an official Killerspin testing... one guy from KS sent them to me as a friend, and also I promised him the KS testing a couple of months ago when I told him about Nexy testing.

Too bad they didn't give us any blades... yet.

i can test it on my kalinic if you want me to but there is an application fee at my club of 2$ so it will be put on nicely. i can also put it on a slower blade and see what the rubber its self c an do this is actually a good test for spin.

Oops I guess I should read the details a bit better....
I am a two wing looper, on my backhand I go for more spinny loops, while I like to change up the amount of speed and spin on my forehand. I LOVE forehand brush loops (which didn't work with Hexer for me).
My serve and short game is good, but it just pains me to get into a push rally.
I am still interested in testing this rubber out as I am looking for the next best thing in soft topsheet tensors.
The Outlaw was played about 4 weeks, twice a week, 1.5 hours each time...so 12 hours, after which I took it off and put it in a ziplock bag. That one came off my 729 Bomb that I used to play.

According to other reviews (including those from US2200+ level players) Blast and Fortissimo are both very demanding rubbers to play with and require good technique and fundamentals to control adequately.

Austin, which one would you prefer, or perhaps either one? I will put you and jt99sf second in line so when the first guys play a bit they can mail it to you.

Put you second in queue for the Blast. Hopefully tpgh2k will not decide that Blast is Tha Ultimate Rubbah, and you'll get it after his testing.

Would you be intrested In some yasaka pryde or yasaka pryde 30.cause I need to get rid of it to get the dead blade I was talking bout ready for testing. And I want to try something new on it. I also have a black 2.0mm friendship super fx 729. It's mid tacky and has helped develop my deadly serve(I won a whole game with just my serve and of course some tricky spins during play). But I got it very nicely priced and I'm looking to trade.so if you or anyone else would be willing to please pm me, post in this topic or create a new topic.thanks :)

I kinda got disappointed in softer rubbers - I tried many including Tenergy, Xiom Vega, Hexer, not to mention many classics like Sriver EL, FX, Hammond, Mark V 30 etc.

The thing is that when I play against a guy with no tricky serves or not too spinny game I would prefer playing with, say, T-05 on my BH or Pryde. But as soon as the opponent has a lot of spin or plays with LPs/anti, it takes so much of my energy and concentration to overcome his spin or deception that I prefer now to play with harder-sponged rubbers. I lose a bit in my own spin but... well, there is no perfection.

Thanks for the offer, man, I appreciate that. I bet there are some very deserving people on this forum who would love to try out a Pryde. Or perhaps some of your clubmates will buy it?
