I have 2 offical Ryu Seng Min shirt from Xiom. I pay for each one 80 euro. It is the most beautiful and comfortable shirt for table tennis! I bought in www.1000und1holz.de before 1 year. In europe you cannot anymore buy this shirt.

I know what you mean! It simply costs too much for me. I could the Xiom RSM shirt for a lower price to buy.

I am looking, however, the official Korean National shirt from Butterfly.

I really don't like wearing official table tennis shirts, people would think you are being cocky acting professional.

i dont think so, id like to detest that, if u want to care about ur appearance or simply want to look good on the day, as most people would, y wouldnt u wear one of the cool shirts?
unless ppl have  a low self esteem who keeps on thinking about what others think of them....

Well its not that, I mean, why would you wear a Korean national team shirt if your not part of the Korean national team? Obviously you think you are as good as the Korean national team players.

I think it's funny when a person is decked out in a polo, nice Mizuno shoes, a pro set up and what not, and then gets beaten by a person wearing a T-shirt, gym shorts etc.

Thats exactly what I meant. You aren't that "pro" but by wearing flashy table tennis shirts makes people feel like you are acting pro thats all. I agree they look awesome, but at the end I would rather get a Nike t-shirt or something

No, I am not saying a shirt determines whether you are good or not but rather if you are modest or not. Its same as driving a BMW but you are on a 50k loan. Sure it is normal to wear sport shirts..but national team shirts...you know what I mean

As you said, its all about skills and not how you look or try to look for someone to think you are good.
By all means if you want to wear it then wear it, I only said what I thought.
The other sports shirts are designed to be worn for sporting comfort

not just for sporting for sporting comfort,  other sport brands do have very flashy designs, ie the tennis for example.
if sport shirts were to be worn just for comfort, what is the point of adding pretty red dragons or nice colors to em?

im asking is, what makes the korea national shirt so radically different, that it sets apart from other shirts. design of course, but if it didnt have "korean national team on it" then what the?

All I am saying is if you don't belong to the Korean national team then why do you want to wear it. I am not saying it is any different or craper than other shirts. I am saying there is so many other shirts that look just as good, feels as good and don't make you look cocky at the same time.

You've never worn a football or basketball jersey? People don't wear team uniforms because they believe that they should play on the teams. They wear them to show their admiration and support. If I wear the Chinese National Team shirt, I show that I am a fan and I'm promoting the sport. Also, the shirt looks awesome.

I usually wear aplain athletic micro-fiber shirt, either with collar or without, some sort of athletic shorts, and my Asics volleyball shoes. I also will throw on a wristband for my playing arm, but thats about it.

I don't really mind what people are wearing, nor do I think badly of those who wear official stuff. Personally, I wouldn't rock a national team jersey, but I'd wearsomethingwithacompanylogoonit.

However, those li-ning jerseys or whatever the Chinese national team wears are sick. Also, the plain red and black Fila jerseys Kong and Liu used to wear are classy and nice, as well as being in my favorite colors.

quoted for truth, imo.

what he's saying is...by wearing a so-and-so national shirt when you play, you are a poser because what I get from people wearing flashing TT shirts when they play is....they are trying to de-tract from the fact that their skill isn't nearly as good as they want to be at.

Now, I can't possibly know your skill level but I can't say that about people  who actually have a lot of skill i.e. US 2000+.  Anyways, what I am getting at is, I've never seen someone rock a Korea national team jersey when playing, but I would just laugh because it shows a sense of pride
 and even arrogance.

for me, i never wear basketball jerseys/hockey jerseys when I AM PLAYING the sport...outside for leisure wear, sure.

though, i cant stop you from wearing what you want.

I think people who wear them look ridiculous. It looks cool if you are part of the national team because you represent them. But imitaters look pretty bad.

I also dont like when somebody wear China or anybody country national shirt! But I like table tennis shirt and I wear it. My favourite shirt is Xiom RSM. It is designed for RSM but he wears other Xiom shirt when he play tournaments. He only use RSM shirt for training. I wear also that shirt, but I am not Ryu Seng Min and I dont wanna be like he! I am me, and I want when I play tournaments that people see that I am table tennis player and not rugby player!

I like table tennis shirt with best quality and not national shirts. I think that is better that when you want to buy national shirt, you simpply buy that basic shirt of that brand from which that shirt is with no name of that country. You can also put your name in back of that shirt! YOU MUST BE ONLY WHAT YOU ACTULLY ARE!
