What I want to say now is that I opened the package three days ago, and still I need to hold my breath whenever I bring the bat above belly height. This rubber smells bloody awful. And also, I had to use edge tape to prevent the sponge from crumbling spontaneously/self destructing through the cut edges. I don't like gear that doesn't play the same day in day out. And when something smells it's basically evaporating so I can foresee that this one will be changing wildly these days. Hopefully it settles in quickly to a no stench mode - right now it is just unbearable and nauseating. I don't know if the regular black power is like that as well or not. On the other hand I found Red Diamond ok for smell and crumbliness.  

 I also had problems with  the awfull smell(it was still present after airing it out for 72 hours) and the crumbleness. I didn't like the playing charisterics either so this rubber was a true dissappointment for me.
