Any idea on the performance of this rubber compared to Bryce or Mark V. It is bloody expensive and slightly more expensive than Bryce in Malaysia. So need your opinion before commit. Thanks. |

Dear SSiew, No need to work ah!! Serving the net for tt!! Someone from this site mentioned that Sriver is one of the fastest rubber when properly glued. I belive Mark V is the same. For Mark V XS, I think it's the same as Hammond. In Yasaka they used the name DAT technology similar to high tension rubber. I think Mark V XS is softer than Bryce and it's in between German Tensor rubber with Jap's Tension rubber. Don't take my work for it cause I have not used both rubber. I just read the description on the cover of the Mark V XS and used my own assumption. Happy hunting and enjoy

Mark V XS more EXPENSIVE THAN BRYCE????? NOOOOOOO WAY....
That's just weird. I never played XS, but i found the regular mark V to be similar to sriver in feel but a bit faster. They rated the XS faster and spinnier than the regular, soooo... |

I play mark v m2 myself and I was dissapointed a first. Not because it was a bad rubber but it wasnt quite what I was expecting. The difference between m2 and xs is that xs is a bit slower (99 comparing to 95) but with moore spinn(97 comparing to 100). Just wanted to tip you of about the Yasaka New Era (93 speed, 100 spinn) if you are not a speedgluer. From what I have heard xs demands speedglue to be effective while New Era is a non speedglue rubber. Weird that is more expensive then Bryce... Here its the otherway around. |

It is bloody expensive and slightly more expensive than Bryce ? And you're looking for offensive FH rubber, then use Bryce....Don't even think about using any Mark V. Totally different kind of rubber in my opinion. |
