Hi all,

What do you think of the next equipment;

Frame: Xiom Stradivarius
Rubber: Xiom Omega V Pro 2.0 for FH and BH.

I play good offensive with FH, mostly fast loops. My BH is allround, but want to improve BH for more looping to set up attacking play. BH flip is also a good weapon of me.

I play a lot from mid distance of table. But also play near the table to take the attack with my FH. Mostly after my own serve to make a winning point with FH.

What do you think of this equipment for my game?

Sounds like an excellent allround attacking combo

Compared to Absolum, Stradivarius is lighter and less powerfull from mid distance but still fast enough for an attacking game.

What about compared to Xiom Vega Euro?
Buyer said Vega Euro is also a good blade. But he also said stradivarius is faster as absolum, lol.. I did not believe that, because some reviews from Internet.

But I still can make easy winners with stradivarius? I have a good arm speed, so I think it will be fast enough for me?

Going with a softer BH rubber might not be a bad idea. I used Omega IV Pro before and it's certainly a bit too hard for a BH rubber. Try out Rakza 7 Soft, it's really popular as a BH rubber

For sure, Stradivarius is plenty fast.

I think it would be a good choice then.

Already played with Gergely, that was very good frame. I think the best I ever had. Now with Absolum, but I think I'm not into all Wood frame. I don't play very well with this blade.

Thanks for the information.

I think about buying rubber what is made for plastic ball. But I keep it in mind as option for BH. I've read good reviews about this rubber.

Sounds like a good combo to me.

I tried Stradivarius briefly and it felt somewhat a more hollow tb alc. By composition it's suppose to be a tbs/tb alc clone, so if you like that deadish composite feel I say go for it. It's a nice blade with a square ST handle, one that I tried.

As for omega V, suppose to be the best out of Xiom line up so why not if you want something fast and spinny. If you want something slower I would go for vega pro both sides.
Main:
Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC 85g
FH/BH: Glayzer 09C 2.1mm

Chopper:
Stratus Power Defense 85g
FH: Hybrid K3 max
BH: Grass D.TecS 0.9mm

USATT: 1725

Thanks for information. How about feeling with the ball? Is there any vibration? And what about the control?

I think I'll go for the omega V rubbers, I like fast and spinny, so that should be a good combo. And I already play some seasons with Vega Pro, so time for a newer version of Xiom. :)

I have played with Stradivarius and currently play with Timo boll ALC, stradivarius is a very good blade, the only thing is the balance is slightly head heavy and you might have to sand-off the wings so it sits deeper in your hand.

The ALC has a better feeling, but the strad has enough feeling(atleast for me) to be able to make all the shots.

Also it loads up topspin even better than my ALC, you can't go wrong with the Strad.

Do you know your current level of playstyle? I feel like stradivarius and Omega V will be way too fast for a lot of people. I'm currently using M.Maze with T05 and while it's fun to use, it feels overwhelming as well

Well I play first class in my region. But I already played with Gergely with T64 both sides and Vega Pro. I think that's even faster as this Stradivarius? But i played well with it. I really like a fast blade.

edit: Not for me, sorry lol.

OP asked about a specific combo so I gave my thought on it. My current level of play style wouldn't really matter to OP...

Although, I've played with TB ALC + T05 and it felt a notch too fast for me, but not overwhelming. But again, that's my position on it. OP might like fast setups.

I tried it very briefly so I can't say much about it. I didn't feel much vibrations with it. Cant say much about control since the rubbers I've tried with it were pretty old, but if you say you can control faster blades than the strad you will be fine with it. I think the feel of it is a "hollow tb alc", it's not a bad feel. What I did like was the handle, good quality.

Idk your level, but as long as you are not a beginner this setup should be fine. It's just an alternative to more expensive BTY ALC blades + best rubber Xiom has to offer. I think TT11 has good deals on Xiom rubbers too so overall it's not an expensive setup compared BTY stuff.

No I'm not a beginner, play for 16 years now. So that's good to know.
Yeah that's one of reason why I want switch to Xiom, it's almost so good as BTY, but quite cheaper.

It's about 2 weeks before buyer has the frame and rubbers, Then I will test the frame in my hand, and make my choice. Good to know there are very much positive answers. Thanks.
