Thanks for the link.  Did you specify the thickness you wanted or did you let them base the thickness on their preference of determining thickness by the weight?

For the "light" "American Hinoki" blade, the thickness is a nominal 10mm.  I was completely okay with this as I sort of like thick setups to begin with.  He does have blades made from other woods that are thinner, but I preferred the thicker, lighter, softer hinoki blade.
