Nike and Adidas Beijing Olympics TT Shoes

   No, this isn't spam for shoes :D.

I was reading the Wall Street Journal, when I came across this fascinating article. Apparently Adidas and Nike have designed  a specialized line of shoes for each of the sports in the upcoming Olympics. This includes, of course, table tennis. These shoes however are not being released in the US as far as I can tell, though I don't think I could afford them anyways.

As far as I can tell, Adidas' TT shoe is a different color scheme of the new climacool sneaker seen here. They apparently based its design on the shoes made for futsal, a version of indoor soccer popular in S. America.

There are no pics of Nike's TT shoe, but I doubt they would be widely available.

	The adidas looks very comfortable and has a tremendous amount of ventilation. Looks like a good shoe.
