Hi there
I was wondering if anyone can compare a nittaku acoustic and our violin to the donic persson power alround frame.
I cuurently play with the donic alround but i want to improve in speed without losing control so i read about the nittaku violin and acoustic
i am a short to table player who likes to block our place the ball behind the net with lots of feeling with my BH and likes to open (spin/loop with my forehand and then search out the right ball asap and smash it off with power.
I also can play a backhand smash but i am not really confident about that yet
I have a couple of questions about the acoustic and the violin although i read all the things on this forum, maybe i missed something.
Well first thing is how are the violin and acoustic against the alrround persson in terms of controll and speed.
And what is also important to me, i have big hands and i read about the nittakus that they have very small handles , will this be a problem for me, is there anyone with big hands playing a violin our acoustic?
Thanks for all of your help already.
a lot of questions i know
Sincerly
Albert

If you want a bigger handle...try getting some tennis grip to wrap around to make it better to grip with.

I have not played with a Nittaku Acoustic or Violin but have seen it.
I have to admit that the handles are very small compared to other brands. Why is it so small? or was the handle designer one with small hands Getting a wrap will help for sure and will probable absorb a little vibration as well. |

Most people will tell you the handle is too small. I'm 6'4" (193 cm) and wear XL gloves and I love my Acoustic FL just the way it is. It all depends on your grip style. Try to get your hand on one if you can. Smaller Stiga FL handles are pretty comprable.

I have big hands and I've used it for a while. I thought that ST handle was very fitting but the FL handle is very small. I usually use the big square ST handles from BTY but i will admit it was a smooth transition to the Acoustic ST handle for me.

after trying a violin with a flared handle,i bought another blade but with a straight handle and heavier.i have to say that both handles are pretty slim,so i used some grip tape which helped a lot.try the flared handle.violins are very good(i could not do well with acoustics)
