It is Nittaku JO Waldner. The name of the rubber was changed because Waldner is not sponsored by Nittaku anymore.

Loads, and loads of spin...
Very nice rubber for defenders when used with a thin sponge

Nodias, at least in 2.0 seemed pretty fast. The medium hard sponge shouldn't be slower than Sriver unglued and it has a grippier topsheet.
I use it on my backhand for reverse penhold looping and speed is plenty for that. It is fairly heavy. Supposedly Wang Liqin uses it on his backhand and one of the strongest loopers in the U.S., Eric Owens uses it on both sides.

I think they replaced J.O. Waldner with Nodias as they couldn't advertise Nitaku Waldner in the U.S. and Europe as Donic has the rights to the name in those markets. I think Nittaku's ratings were the same and the description is very similar, so it should be the same sheet, which is a different sheet from Donic J.O. Waldner.

i have never played with JO Waldner and nodias so I don't know if they are identical. I looked at the rating for both rubbers, and it tells me that Nodias is faster and spinnier than JO. I am not a heavy rpb user because I emphasize my game a lot on forehand and footwork. Since I don't really have a preference for my bh, I decided that I try slapping a different rubber.

Nittaku's ratings for Nodias are the same as what they use to specify their JOW as.

dragonflytt.com and paddlepalace.com have them. Alright, I just got my black sheet of Nodias today. I did play a little today at the club, but I have yet to test how it plays. The sponge is slightly softer and "bouncier" than sriver, which is also faster. For some reason I feel that it plays better on my bh than my fh, but that's mainly b/c I am used to playing with chinese rubbers for my fh. I will do more testing tomorrow. I don't think I missed any rpbs using this rubber.

reverse penhold backhand = rpb. I remember you asked about this before regarding the new narucross. I believe they are rubbers with built in speed glue effect. you will have to wait on the nodias after i try it a couple of days. Normally I do a test for both fh and bh. i didn't get the chance to do a lot of bhs yesterday, so hopefully i will today.

ErikaT,
Nittaku has both Hard and Soft and both of these rubbers have higher rating than Nodias... ex. EX hard has 9.6 in speed 9.3 in spin and 7.3 in control, and Soft has 9.3 in speed 9.6 in spin and 7.3 in control... as a contrast, Nodias has 9.2 in speed 9.3 in spin and 7.4 in control... these are the test result from Paddlepalace...
