Just curios if anyone in here is a coach.  Or a paid trainer.  I was just wanting to know how you got into something like that.  How you got involved in such a thing? 
 
How many students is a good number to have, and is it usually hard to get students?  Probably depending on your area.

Well you really need to be good. And, then get USTTA certified.

im probably not counted as a 'real' coach, but i do coach in that sense. if your not coaching really good players, as long as you can place the ball in the same place consistently with every return it should be ok. you muz be famaliar with your strokes too, to be able to illustrate it or explain it in words

I'm not.  But later on I have plans to.  I'm probably only around a 1400-1500 right now.  But I'm going to do the China training for a month.  And am hoping to get up high enough to actually be a coach.
 
Stokes are important, I've been taught them.
