It's about time! Always good to see a new Palio Tensor. Can't wait to find out what bits they're using from the current ESN crop.

This was a great signature until I realised it was overrated.

I always love the center arrow on rubbers that have it to make sure my rubbers are on perfect. Gawd that rubber looks nice. |

Well... wow, I guess it's almost time for everyone to throw their sheets of Blitz on the fire once Aeolus gets a full release. |

This place offers it for 28 Euro. They seem to only ship to Europe so I nominate you as one of the official Palio Aeolus testers for the forum since you are in Romania. |

I'm just going to quote you so your typo can remain on internet history forever before you edit it. Also, you seemed to have missed the news that fastpaddle is closing for at least 1-2 years because the man running the store is suffering from health problems. Visit the site, he left a message on the front page. |

There are more shops selling this rubber.
For example: http://www.ttdd.de/Palio2.html (scroll to the bottom) TTDD does not have the most fancy webshop, but they sell a lot of Chinese stuff.

Bought it, put it on the blade - will report soon.
So far one thing is already REALLY bad for me - this rubber is VERY heavy. The cut piece weighs about 50 g - more than any Tenergy I have ever tried, and about 8-10 g more than my preferred rubbers (T-80 1.9 mm or KTL Red Diamond Mechanical). So instead of 168-172 g my new combo (with Tibhar Aurus 1.9 mm) weighed in at 183 g. Yikes... The difference is quite noticeable. |

Played a bit with it. But the balance of the combo was all wrong - so I have moved it to another one.
For now all I can say it is very grippy, high throw. Also it seems that it became a little closer to the Tenergy style. That is, on slower short strokes it behaves slower, a bit muffled, but on harder stronger strokes it really throws the ball when you apply yourself. Will report more later. |

JimT - What hardness did you order? I am going to order one, but not sure what hardness I want. Is the throw as high as Thors?

I wasn't aware they had anything else but 47.5. Probably not as high as Thors but close. |

There is also 45d at TTNPP. 47.5d is probably the same as BLIT'Z.

Where would you place it in comparison to the Bluefire line? Is it faster on power shots or about the same? Does it surpass them in any way in all-out play? What do you mean by it being close to the Tenergy style? I might be interested in this rubber if it is anything similar to Joola Maxxx 500. |

Played some more.
First of all, it is a bit too hard for me to be used as a BH rubber, I need more control and easier ball grab on BH. On FH though I liked it. I played for about 1.5 hr with my BBC Tachyon (Hinoki-Carbon), Aeolus on FH, T-05FX on BH. Speed is about the same as T-80; probably a bit faster on stronger shots. It is harder than T-80 so sometimes it helps but sometimes it hurts. Like you need the ball to penetrate a little deeper to get good controlled opening loop. It worked great in flatter loops or in ones where you close the racket quickly - then you get a really nice going low loop-drive with a very decent spin. Spin is - on average - probably just a bit less than T-80. Throw angle - somewhat higher than T-80, perhaps about the same as T-05 FX. Sensitivity to spin - less than T-05 FX, but not by much. Generally, I would say it plays quite similar to a hybrid of T-64 and T-80. |

How did you know? That is exactly where it is right now - in some sort of shipping bureaucracy limbo. Cannot even track it... |
