Anyone have experience with Stiga Optimum PLUS, Optimum Sync, or Optimum Seven? I like the lighter weight and offensive power of these all-wood blades, but I'd like to hear firsthand from anyone who's tried them.

Also: these blades come in 2 sizes of flared handle: large and small. How does this affect listed weight? Does an 84 gm blade weigh a lot more if you order it in Large size, or is it 84 gm unless you order it in Small? Any insights?

Thanks.

I used the OP in ST handle. At first coming from a TBS the control was unmatched. But after playing with it for a while, I noticed I had problems looping underspin since the surface was too hard, ie low dwell.

And due to the crystal layer, the rebound speed is like carbon but without the stability nor the enlarged sweet spot.

Basically it is fast when you want it to be slow (sidespin brush vs serves) and slow when you want it to be fast (kill vs underspin).

Also I've tried the Optimum Seven and it is just a really fast version of the Clipper without the touch or dwell of the original classic.

IMO try the SYNC, the whole series started with this and it probably has the least flaws...
