Thought of changing to tacky rubber for more effective short serve on my FH. What tacky rubber you proposed?
1) Tackifire C
2) Tackifire Special
3) Nittaku H3 Pro
4) Nittaku H2 Pro
5)?
6)?

Not interested in DHS H3 or H2 as commercial one is no good. Provincial or National one is sometimes not available and overpriced and in addition, too many fake one. Please advise.

Hello SSiew,

Any of the above will do with your current skill.

I thought you are watching TT over Astro?

Dear SSiew,

I also watched live scoring. No broadband if not can see live. Anyway WLQ won.

So tacky rubber is better for short game and control. At the end of the day control attack matters.

Will try to go to hotspot tonight to watch the final cause no astro.

Dear all

Any tacky rubber that does not need speed glue?

Not really interested in H3 Provincial. Currently thinking of buying Tackifire C. What is your opinion?

tackifire special is good enough...if you prefer looping choose the soft version, if you like hard hitting game choose the regular (harder) version

both can loop well, even the regular version. im using tackifire special soft on my backhand and H3 provincial on my forehand. tackifire special soft is lighter than the regular version but it itself is a fairly heavy rubber.

Hmm I find my H2 extremely tacky. In fact the ball palpably sticks to the rubber. I would not want anything stickier than that as I still want the ball to leave my bat at speed.

I bought my H2 in Taiwan. It has a serialised orange sponge and a QA certificate sticker on packaging. It is also very noticeably lighter than another H2 I held a few months earlier. It has no visible imperfections comparing it to my Andro Plasma 430 on backhand and the sponge on the H2 is only marginally harder than the Plasma 430 sponge.
