Just ordered a Petr Korbel blade, after reading great reviews of it, and I needed something more offensive yet balanced. Does anyone have any good rubber recomendations for this blade? I have a sheet of Sriver EL 2.1 I plan to use on the backhand, but I need to get a forehand rubber.

I was thinking of trying Stiga Magma, especially since it's on sale at paddlepalace, or maybe Mark V, or just another sheet of Sriver EL.

Anyone got a setup with this blade that they really like?

do you speedglue? If you don't  Magna is a very good choice if you do Mendo MP is a better choice!

Yeah, try Mark V and also....

Sriver or....

Spintech Jade-very control spin, yet has the gears to dominate in high speed looping or hitting play. Many gears! I can even chop and lob well, though its an OFF rubber.

Thanks for the replies.  Forgot to say in the original post, I don't plan on speedgluing since if it's going to be banned fairly soon I don't want to start now.  How much of a difference is speedgluing going to make with these rubbers?

Huge differences on Mark V and Sriver series. Magna 2.0 is the best choice without glue it's fast and very spinny.

i use hurricane 3 for fh, hurricane 2 bh on my korbel. I dont know if you like chinese rubbers but i really like my current setup, the close-mid distance game comes to life.

keep in mind these sponges are hard and generally heavy. I feel that the balance of weight feels just right with this setup.

i use to play srivers fx, but it lacked the necessary power that i needed, i then bought srivers g2fx but way too fast for me. my shots would fly 6 inches from the table, i dont speed glue btw.

You said that you don't speed glue.
I have tested many many many rubbers with speed glue effect.
The most of them are fragile. There are some exceptions of course...
So , I recommend,  Catapult  Hard  or Joola  Energy  Green Power  if you  want something softer.
