I need a BH rubber to compliment my H3 Blue sponge. I do have some rubber which I like to use on BH but they are all black sheets (like G2fx) and it's no use with H3 BS which is also black. So I decided maybe I can try something new. I'm going to use on med/soft blade (Energy, BT555 or maybe W1).

Some of those came to my mind; Tibhar Torpedo Soft, Tibhar Rookie Dtecs, Andro Plasma 380/430 and any recommendations from other forum members.
I do use and quite like G2FX. So if I can't find anything better I'll just get another sheet of it. So what do you say?

I personally think you should stick with G2FX, i fin it is a great BH rubber, there is no rubber in the world more versatile imo,

Are you looking for speed, spin, or control.
Note, you will lose a "little" spin with red but it should be minute.
I tried red Geo Spin Tacky and liked it for spin and serve, but it has a bit of a high throw, so if you like low throw its not for you.

Probably a fair shake slower w/o glue, as well, but a decent choice, aye. I'd say Plasma 430 if you're looking to get out of the gluing racket, but if not there are probably better options; the performance is spot-on, imo, but you're only renting Plasma for a few weeks (for quite a large chunk of change) if you play regularly. The fragility is quite a pity, really.

Thanks for all replies guys. I think I'll first try the Solcion 2.1 which a friend gave me. If it's too soft, then I'll stick to G2FX.

i play tg2 which is a h3 equivalent in forehand... and lkt torrent egs works great from me in back hand.

it is very stable in blocks and pushes ... but when you top spin the ball it also gives you a nice control and trajectory when you loop.  very spinny serves.

i dont' smash with back hand .. but i think blade has more role to play in smashes.

Can you compare Torrent's spin/speed/sponge softness/throw to Sriver EL /  G2FX / Six Shooter / regular Inspirit etc ? my local tt dealer will carry LKT-729 products so I can give it a try considering it's cheap.

Where did you buy the H3 from? Does the blue sponge mean anything?

i agree with drew collins, geo spin is very good. u can generate awesome spin on ya backhand serves and punch and kill without the worry of the ball goin over the table.

I would say 999T, Bryce, Sriver G2 and Sriver G2 High Tuned

I personally must say that Sriver G2 is awesomest rubber I ever tried in BH before I changed to defence style.
