Subject: Bty. Joo See Hyuk or Stiga Cliper CR?
Date Posted: 12/04/2007 at 11:50pm
Hi all, i've been playing ping pong for more than 2 years and now i am looking for a new racket. So far, i heard a lot of people in this forum mentioned a lot about Stiga Cliper CR, but, m interested with Butterfly Joo See Hyuk paddle too. So, if you don't mind sharing some idea to compare these two rackets, it'd help me a lot.

Thanks you.

why is Clipper an excellent choice? , how about Nittaku Septear? it is a seven ply hinokee wood, and the price is similar to clipper too.

I am planning on picking up a Septear for Christmas Wink

I guess a lot more people have Clippers and not so many people have Septears.  Most people who have Clippers love them; check out the ratings and user comments at http://www.tabletennis.gr/equipment/equipment.asp - www.tabletennis.gr/equipment/equipment.asp

The price of a Clipper here in the USA is also cheaper than a Septear.

BTY M. Maze A/C or even TBS seems pretty good for your style (of course they cost more than clipper and I think a little more than the Joo Se Hyuk).  It is interesting that you would want to go from a carbon blade to a wood blade like clipper.  Is there a reason for this?

i've went from wood,to carbon, back to wood, to a/c,and yet again im bacl to wood. there is NOTHING like the feel of a woodblade imho. also, i find that a/c blades whilt elastic and fast, is harder to generate spinnier shots with (for me anyway).

wow, seems like a lot of people love Clipper and no one has mentioned Joo See Hyuk blade yet. That might mean Joo. blade is not that popular.

Hmm.. TBS and Maze is a bit expensive for me and furthermore, i m kind of interested in all wood blade without any carbon or anything else. , but thanks for ur suggestion.

The reasons for that it is because i want to test how the real wood is. and  most of the pro they start with the real wood blade and some of them still use it. So, there might be some advantagesss inside the wood blade that i haven't found yet. that's why i want to try.

Another reason that m interested in Joo See Hyuk blade, it's made from wood without any carbon, and i like its handle and it's cheaper than M.Maze n Matsush*ta. but, Clipper and Offensive are also the great blades.

i might save some more money to buy all of them soon. hahaha

Thanks you
