I was told that many of the Chinese youth are now using very hard, fast blades. eg Avalox 7 ply, with 2.0mm midsoft sponge to compensate for the glue ban. Can anyone verify this?

Does anyone know what the effects of such a combo are? Any thoughts?

i bet they are just going to make a softer extremly dense sponge, like dawei quattro, its softer than a standard dhs no.20 sponge but its just as dense

Is it possible to make a softer sponge with high density? I thought that sponges were softer because of lower density.

It doesn't sound right anyway. Dense is another way of saying hardness. Low meaning soft and high meaning hard. I have no idea if that is possible.

The chinese women's team are using TSP long effect glue at the moment, whatever it's called. Still using hurricane 3.
