agree with cole.
i apply 1 super light coat of sealant to my hinoki. can't even tell it's there.

Ok this is what I've gathered from the chinese at the bottom: - Darker is making a limited edition blade for the chinese market. - each batch is about 7 or 8 blades. 2nd batch to be sold in approx 2 months. - Darker uses hinoki that is *at least* 900 years old! - 4 types of grips: CP、FL、JP、ST.
