Please use the search function before you post.  There are many threads with this topic.  To answer your question I would say Mark V is heavier and that Sriver l maintains its like new appearance longer.  However both rubbers can both last a long time if you take care of them.  Other will probably disagree, but that's what I think.

Jeff, the Mod., go easy on this newbie. he's most probably still trying to find his way around this forum.
I could relate to his "situation"...Trying to find my way to my classrooms first night/time in night school after many many years of absence.
Same thing w/my teen son, 1st day of high school.....
cheers

I agree with Jeff, both rubbers last a very long time if they are well taken care of.  Mark V is heavier than sriver but has more gears, i believe anyway.

Sorry BTYuser i shouldn't have been to hard on you.  Welcome to the forum!lol.
@tiehwen I can understand what your talking about. haha
Also I find Mark V bouncier and can produce more spin than Sriver.

Sriver all the way.  Without a doubt my favorite rubber.

Sriver is lighter and lasts a little longer in my experience.

Although the Mark V is spinnier.
