Hi All, I have this old metal tag Gergely laying around which im not using. It's in great condition, it only has one small chip at the top. The weight is 89 grams. I want to sell it, but i don't the the value. What is a good price for this blade? Since it's mandatory to state an asking price in the for sale section i need to know the value. Hope you guys can help out. nice weight so maybe $105 although some may say much higher because of the 'black metal tag'. put a decent price up and say accept reasonable offers is probably the best way to go. ------------- RSM Special Platinum T64 |

it's real hard to pinpoint a true value or worth for this oldie or any of these so-called "Black-tagged" AND w/o serial code. It or any of these would be based on how badly the potential buyers/collectors want them solely for collecting/acquiring/looking at/admiring them. I was offered once in 2002 to buy a similar 1 yet I snubbed the owner due to the fact that his Gergely C was & still imho is really really too much/powerful for me and also I found the handle too odd, slim yet "edgy" or sharp. So, it all comes down to this "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" kinda thought, right? I had a Sardius FL with the old black metal tag which I traded for a Timo Boll ALC ST. My Sardius was in similar condition to yours. The TB ALC, in Australia, is worth $260 but overseas, it is worth about $150. $140-$150, if it was below 88grams it would have been worth more...or if it had the Roman font ------------- Viscaria, Ma Long 5, Old Clippers, BTY Ovtcharov and Various Custom blades |
