NEW FORMAT for LARC (List of Authorised Racket Coverings)

Dear Friends,

This is a cover note to inform you that the ITTF is releasing a new format for LARC (List of Authorised Racket Coverings). The new format is effective immediately starting with LARC35B (1 October 2014) and it’s just an administrative change to ensure we only have one LARC valid at a time and avoid times when two ARCs validity is overlapping.

Effective immediately, from 01 October 2014, only LARC 35B is necessary. LARC 35A, published 01 April 2014, is not necessary anymore, even if it’s validity date was until 31December 2014.

The change you should note is the one-page annex added (page 7), where we will list only the racket coverings withdrawn or suspended from the previous LARC. These racket coverings will be removed from the main list and moved to the annex. Racket coverings on the annex will be valid for 3 months after the publication date, until the date indicated on the annex.
