Has anyone tried the 1* training balls from Yinhe? Unlike their 3* balls, the 1* are seamed balls, so they'll obviously be very different. I did not like the seamless practice balls. We put them in a bucket together with Gambler and Yinhe 3* balls for drills and you could tell right away when you got on of them. The bounce was much lower and also quite inconsistent. given a yinhe 2* ball costs almost 60% of a 3* ball, you better use 3* seamless balls as your practice balls  ------------- Aurora ST: Rhyzm / Talent OX |

| A friend did buy a bunch of seamless 1*s, they were hopelessly inconsistent, making practice very frustrating. So I use 3* seamless as practice balls. And if nobody hits them edge on, they last a long time. I have some that are over a year old; now, they are mixed in with 100 other balls, so the duty cycle is a very low percentage. |

Had four sessions with a coach that uses the seamless version of the 1star Yinhe ball and he's now stopped using them for anything other than multiball. Something about the rough surface of the balls felt like it stopped the inverted rubber from getting any decent grip on the balls. Warm-up drills were really frustrating as the ball kept slipping and as soon as we switched to just playing with a couple of G40+ balls the training seemed to go much better. Avoid these balls! (Though they might get better with age, they seems a bit smoother now that they're a couple of weeks old.)
