Has anyone tried the Yasaka cushion guard tape? http://tt-japan.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10&products_id=2759 I would like to know if they are better than the Dr Neubauer foam edge tapes: http://www.affordablett.com.au/shop/neubauer-foam-edge-tape-12mm-blade-p-2412.html I'm looking for something sturdy that will protect the edges of my blade, it goes through quite a beating. I never tried the Dr Neubauer, but I am using the yasaka tape. I tend to hit my blade on the edge of the table and I hit it quite hard on the table which caused a dent on the tape but when I peeled it off the wood was undamaged. My blade fell a few times but it was not damaged.
