It's quite fast and similar to BD

Dunno if it is pretuned. I found STN to be tackier than BD, faster than H3N but slower than BD, and softer in feel than both. Basically, it is the middle ground between H3N and BD.

I boost my neos but never boosted big dipper. I want to know if I need to boost target national. Based on reviews I read I have a feel its a hard rubber.

I just got a sheet of Sanwei target national. It does not appear to be boosted like big dipper. I do not boost so I am not sure if it needs to be. It is a pretty good quality sheet.

This rubber needn't to be boosted. It uses cake sponge like rasanter or revolution and its face has viscosity which chinese players prefer.

It doesn't need to be boosted.
Once it breaks in, is faster than lightly boosted H3 Neo.
The World Rubber Market Video is pretty accurate.
It's just hard to find.

Will it be unplayable if boosted. H3 pro nittaku and provincial versions play better boosted as well.

No, it won't be unplayable. It is cheap, buy two, boost one, and see which you prefer.

IMHO, STN plays like a 38degree H3N, so it is a bit too soft to my taste. But if you like it softer, this will work. The rubber is pretuned by the factory, but once the tuning effect wears off, you may need to retune it depending on your preference. The rubber quality is better BD. Also, the www.princett.com web site, which is a site in Hong Kong, sells this too. They have something listed with “Moderately Hard” and “Moderately Soft” in addition to the standard one. I don’t know if this means harder and softer than the regular version or what. But I order a sheet of Moderately hard and it is on its way. Here,s the link to the product page:

I played with sanwei target national for a few months, it didn't feel particularly special for my playing style, I prefer hurricane 8 over it, which offers better service, control and durability. The sanwei topsheet gets destroyed very quickly, one of the poorer top sheets from China when it comes to durability

Sanwei sent me STN a while back before they launched it. Didn't like it as well. Feels like all-round Chinese rubber with a little tack. Sanwei T88-1 is still my go to rubber for years..
PS: avoid the Sanwei Europe Version Target 40+ Pro at all cost. Not good for anything with that topsheet, maybe just for smashing lol

Also to add to the avoid list, is Sanwei Tacky A+
There was like zero arc on that rubber, couldn't play on a hard carbon blade or a flexy 5 ply wood either. Crazy good spinny serves but everything else just was wack.

Did you use the Sanwei T88-1 with target stamp or without. The latter supposed to be better, people report. Also i did read that it plays good for a small ammount of time then the sponge becomes hard as a brick. If you know where you can find without target stamp please share. Thank you.

I did both. With target stamp is very heavy. I weighed it and posted it vs other heavy rubbers such as T05, Hexer, etc, years ago and the one with target stamp was like 10 Grams above others
Sanwei allowed me to order custom T88-1 from them, I've tried different sponges that they produced and the best one is still the pink sponge without target stamp.
If you go to ebay and go to china friend's store, you can ask them if their T88-1 has the target stamp or not. IMO currently all of their T88-1 has no target stamp, which is great! https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sanwei-T88-I-Pips-in-red-Table-Tennis-Rubber-Sponge-2-2mm-/311998436655?hash=item48a48e552f
From time to time, I just reglued the rubber with rubber cement when the sponge became hard. Easy enough solution for me

I haven't ordered any H3N Blue Sponge. But I did order some blades and other rubbers from them with no issues. But can't say if their H3N BS is real or not. Just like any other dealers out there selling Blue Sponge version of H3N.

How does boosted STN compare to Hurricane 3 National Orange sponge? Does it even come close in terms of spin production or speed, on say, an OFF/OFF+ Wood or Carbon Blade?

Which National H3?
The one from prott.vip? The one from TTNPP? The one from Megaspin.net? The different ones from ebay?
One of the $40 National H3's from Aliexpress? One of the $20 Nationals?
Compared to commercial H3 Orange - with less booster it it plays lower throw, with slightly less spin than on drives. It's missing the perfect outrageous spin that you can get to with H3.
Boosted can be as fast or faster than H3. With less booster it is faster.
