If you say, the old blade is a collectible item, it might be depending who you talk to. If you say, an old blade upgraded from a regular blade to a Ferrari level blade due to age, this is questionable. How can it be? You buy a Honda, you parked it in your garage for 40 years and it became a Ferrari? How so?! |

Well, let's be fair. The old Viscaria ST blade is a very good blade but definitely not a Ferrari. I wouldn't drive a high price Ferrari every day for the same reason I wouldn't use a thousand euro blade every day because of their cost. I'll take them out for a spin in the countryside of just showing them off in a high end social function . Or would you play with this everyday? I'd have my framed and displayed in a collectors case. |

I agree 100%. Only way to tell how valuable your blade is to test play it against a new one. You can send the blade to me and some of the forum members for a test play. We can each give you a thorough test report whether or not the blade plays almost 10 times better than a new one.

Everyone can think differently. And I respect your decision. If you don't know the difference, buy a new Viscaria and use it. Like the new Stga Clipper $ 70 but the old Stiga Clipper $ 400. Why? Have you ever used it? Each blade can write Viscaria but every year it is produced in different quality.

1) On this forum, there are not only players but also collectors; 2) everyone is free to sell his stuff at the price he wants. The only obligations are : list a price and post pictures; So, the seller can ask 10000 EUR if he wants, you are not obliged to buy the blade. 3) why not suggest a donic Baum Esprit instead of a Boll spirit ? this is the same construction and it is less expensive...and I am sure you can find a cheaper blade. also, Sorry but the handle of a Viscaria S T 1 gen is not the same as the one of a TB Spirit for instance. For a lot of players, including me, the handle is as much important than the rest of the blade. So, what is your goal ?

1. That's why I wrote "for playing" excluding all collectors. 2. Of course they can ask for insane amounts. I suggested a spirit because it is from the same company. Also yes the handle is a little different, but you're not going to pay 7 times as much just for a slightly different handle. The difference is so small, that it won't make you play THAT much better. But maybe there are hidden professionals on this forum who need this sligh difference. |

Workmanship, blade quality, feel and speed are very different. Only players who play continuously can understand this. Yes.. Have a minor dent. But the feel and speed on this blade are excellent... I don't like new model Viscaria.. And I used old model Stiga Clipper. Price ... The price for you is much cheaper than for someone else. Racket rubbers wear out quickly. But you can use the boards for life. If it's not for sale. I'm not unhappy.

Sure. Can you quantify the quality and feel that this blade has, that others do not, that makes it worth about 20x a reasonable price for a Viscaria in that condition? Will you offer a full refund for a customer who buys this blade and then finds that there is no significant difference in feeling or performance from other Viscarias, as claimed by the seller?

Do you like wine? Every company produces the same wine every year. But some years grapes are very special. Only when you drink. And other wines do not taste the same. Why is Viscaria throne still popular? If it is still very popular today, it is thanks to the quality of its first series. This blade is like the same wine ... Feels much better, handle quality is much better .. I do not want to write. That's why it's still popular. The ST handle is a very popular blade and they are now trying to reproduce it.
