Anyone has experience with this Garaydia T5000 blade?
Greatly appreciate it if you can share your thoughts on this blade (maybe comparing with other blades for a baseline).

Thanks, Chroot.

It sounds like Garaydia T5000 is a 5-layer blade (3 woods + 2 carbon). Anyone can provide info on the wood types, especially, the top wood?

Similar to Primorac Carbon. The top layer is Hinoki

Thanks again chroot.
That's interesting because Hinoki is relatively soft, but the consensus on the blade seems to be that it's a hard blade...

I love all the garaydias! They're fairly similar -- the t5000 is the fastest one...

It has a very direct, dead feel to it -- yet a soft touch at the same time. Not much dwell, but the hits are not like smashing with a stiff 7 ply all wood for example.

Loops and smashes fine, blocks tremendously well... only downside is the inherent speed can be hard to control at times. The base speed is very fast, so touch shots and that sort of things will be your trouble spot.

Stiff, soft, with no vibrations and very fast!

Yes, it's unique. The tamaca 5000 carbon provides support and speed, but the hinoki layer is soft and makes the blade controllable. I love it.

From all the tamca 5000 I have tried (Sardius,Ai Fukuhara Special, PC, Gergely, Schlager) Garaydia was the worse for me. No feeling, no spin nor particular speed

It's a re-branded Schlager with the same design & thickness but different handle design.  Here are the similar design but different thickness.  They all got the hinoki soft wood surface + tamca T-5000 carbon + kiri center core (I think):

Primorac Carbon 6.9 mm; 150x157mm
Sardius 7.0mm; 152x158mm
Garadya & Schlager 7.2mm; 150x157mm

The thicker the faster.

FYI, just like Garadya ZLC is actually the same as Amultart; both have the same exact design & specs.
